Who would’ve thought that access to quality books would be as easy as 1,2,3?

Although we’ve only recently partnered with Kibooks, feedback from tenants and staff has been extremely positive.  The fact that no data is required to access quality books and that its available in all official languages, makes this service so much more accessible to the bigger community.  Through Kibooks, we have been able to provide quality reading material across various learning areas at a very affordable cost.

We share the importance of creating a love for reading with Chris and his team at Kibooks.  Our tagline of “addressing the future” is very apt, as we believe by creating a culture of reading amongst the youth, we are effectively addressing the future of the next generation, and our country.

Instead of relying solely on the government to fix the many complex problems South Africa faces, educating our youth is the first vital step we, as responsible citizens, must take towards addressing the challenges our country confronts. A good education empowers individuals to think for themselves, fosters entrepreneurship, enables people to improve their own lives and the lives of those around them, and is the cornerstone of a civilized society. For this reason, teaching children to read with comprehension is of utmost importance, so when we heard about kibooks we knew this was something we needed to support. Often, we aspire to make a meaningful contribution to society but are unsure of where to begin, and Kibooks has made it straightforward for sponsors to make a positive impact on youth development. We’ve been a supporter since early 2022, and we look forward to growing our support and reaching more children with kibooks.

Kibooks is a great concept for our new schools.  It is a great resource to have if you don’t have an old-fashioned library in your school. Our teachers love reading to their children in the class, but our parents are even more impressed with the platform. This is most definitely value for money.  With the cost of hard copy books and especially international competitors, you are getting value for money. What makes it better is the fact that we have access to the languages of our choice, in our case three South African languages.

We got more than what we bargained for! Our schools took part in a National Reading Competition.  Two of the schools finished in the top 3. The top school won R50 000 worth of books.

TRUE VALUE FOR MONEY!

I was extremely sceptical when I contacted Mr De Beer about Kibooks.  I was disillusioned after spending 5 months trying to roll out a digital library through another well recommended company that defrauded our school.  From the start though, I received exceptional service and help from the kibooks.online team and within two days we were able to roll out the new digital library for our students.  We received exactly what was promised and with zero hassle involved.  I cannot recommend Kibooks highly enough!  We are delighted with this online program and we have finally been able to provide quality reading material for our students at a very affordable cost.  To have access to so many books that cover a range of different genres and learning areas and not be limited to single user license is an absolute godsend.  Another huge benefit is the fact that Kibooks is Zero Rated so the children just need access to the internet but use no data when they are reading books from the library and that has elicited an overwhelmingly positive response from our students.  All in all, it was an absolute pleasure working with the team at Kibooks and one of the best investments we have made in our reading intervention program. I would like to commend and thank the Kibooks developers for creating a digital library that truly has a passion for enabling students to access books and fall in love with reading!
